Terms
The agreement between you and Stash. Last updated May 13, 2026.
The service
Stash is a personal organization and memory tool that helps you save and rediscover links you choose to keep. You decide what to save; Stash helps you organize and return to it. The service is provided on a best-effort, as-is basis while in early access, with no uptime or feature guarantees.
Independent product
Stash is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any third-party platform, website, creator, or content owner. Links saved in Stash remain subject to the terms and policies of the original source. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your region, whichever is higher) to use Stash.
Your account
You’re responsible for activity on your account. Don’t share credentials, don’t attempt to access other users’ data, and don’t abuse the service or its underlying APIs.
What you save
You choose which URLs to save into Stash. Stash stores the URLs you submit, along with the stashes, notes, tags, and organization you create around them. You are responsible for the links and content you choose to save and for ensuring you have the right to access them.
Context & metadata
To help you organize and rediscover saves, Stash may generate or store lightweight metadata, previews, summaries, transcripts, tags, captions, or other useful context where available. Coverage varies by source — Stash does not promise to capture everything from every platform, and missing or partial context is expected.
No rehosting, no replacement
Stash does not claim ownership of third-party content, does not intend to replace the original source, and does not imply partnership with any source. Where appropriate, Stash links you out to open the original content in its original site or app. Stash does not knowingly download, rehost, or republish full third-party videos or copyrighted works as a public content library.
Acceptable use
- Only save links and content you have the right to access.
- Don’t use Stash to infringe copyrights or violate third-party rights.
- Don’t use Stash to bulk-collect or scrape content from any platform.
- Don’t use Stash to bypass platform restrictions, paywalls, or access controls.
- Don’t use Stash to republish third-party content unlawfully.
- Comply with applicable laws and the terms of the platforms you save from.
- No illegal content, harassment, hate speech, or material that exploits minors.
- No malware, spam, reverse-engineering, or interference with the service.
You are responsible for the links and content you choose to save and for how you use Stash.
Reporting & moderation
Use the “Report” button on any save or stash to flag copyright issues, harassment, illegal or explicit material, spam, or abuse. Our moderators may remove reported content, switch public stashes back to private, and suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.
Sharing & collaboration
All stashes default to private. You can choose to share with specific collaborators or, with explicit confirmation, make a stash public. Public stashes are viewable by anyone with the link. You can revoke access, rotate invite links, leave shared stashes, or transfer ownership at any time.
AI features
Stash uses AI to generate summaries, categories, and on-screen text extraction where available. AI output may be wrong, biased, or out of date. Treat it as a helpful assistant, not a source of truth — verify anything important.
Copyright & takedowns
Stash respects creators and rights holders and honors reasonable takedown requests. If you believe content saved on Stash infringes your rights, please see our DMCA & Copyright page or email hello@stashsocialapp.com. We review valid notices and will remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing material where appropriate.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stash is provided without warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
